Shirts from first order are delivered except some
International deliveries are just plain slow using economy shipping.

These second round shirts are all flat black image
on either UC Lime or sport gray PlayDry fabric

Question: would you rather have a cheap (iron on plastic/rubber) or slightly more expensive very high quality screen printed shirt on a high quality self wicking ("PlayDry"brand)? The shipping has to be separate since we have so many users overseas.

I looked into TeeSprings, but even though they ship domestic, what I found was cheap material and even worse quality print. I would rather do a nice (read "long lasting") shirt printed on higher quality material. Here's a sneak peek:

I vote for screen printed.

It should be quality all the way, just like the UC cards. I love this design. It's funny, I was just looking at ace of spades t-shirts at Cafe Press earlier today. They all ran about $24 and none were nearly this nice. I am definitely down for these.

Edited to add: Can I be a "charter member" if I just joined recently?

Would they run true to size or are they the ultra thin fabric / slim fit hipster style shirt?

I say black if it's the size in the photos, and green if it's small (ie left breast pocket size).

What about UC green on the front left breast and black on the back.

I don't know how I missed this.. Well actually I do. I've been working like a madman. I voted for the black. Black with UC green printing would be awesome.

I prefer black, green is too fluorescent in my opinion but might be ok if it was smaller like Brent's idea.

I'm confused. Are you asking about the color of the shirt or the printing? Personally, I think a black t-shirt with the UC green printing would be awesome. If it is the grey t-shirt shown, then I think the black would work great. Hope I didn't screw up the voting.

What about green t-shirt with black printing? Just a thought....

I do like that black on gray, though.

Sorry, I am asking about the color of the imprint. I will update the poll in the OP so it's my re apparent.

I know I am restricting things a bit, but it will be as shown, printed on a dark charcoal ("heather " is the manufacturer's description) in a single color, so we can have the best quality, longest lasting T as opposed to a cheap iron on (plastic based, I think?) raised logo that would quickly wear out. Off.

I have plenty of t-shirts, if you ask Donna I have 500% of the optimal number, and I can definitely tell you that you want the screen printed on high quality fabric. The Gilden self wicking (marketed as "PlayDry" by others, but I don't recall their brand name) shirts are far superior to the cheap ones that I have seen sold recently (I hate to point fingers, but "teesprings" brand comes to mind. So would you, promise, and the cost & selling price is about $2-$3 more. It also lets me offer it in 10 sizes including 4× "youth" sizes and up to 5XL, although since the price goes up $1 per size starting a XXL/2XL, I was going to stop at 4XL. If someone needs a 5XL, let me know by PM and I can easily add it, but as needed ten that pushes the price to $20 instead of $16 + shipping. I wish someone had their stuff together to do international fulfillment, but it's going to be Donna and myself, as opposed to tossing another $3-$4 on top of every order. I am in process of building the PayPal customized button(s) to make it all happen, expect to see it available this weekend or shortly thereafter. I will have to decide how long to keep the initial ordering window open, and post a realistic schedule. Date of order to delivery is about two weeks, and price doesn't change muxh - not enough to worry about whether we sell 20 or 200 (or 2 for that maffer).

Someone asked by PM what self wicking or PlayDry meant. It's just a very comfortable shirt material that eliminates the worry about how stressed or workouts you do, mostly. N other words, it should be comfortable around the house, the town, on the golf course or whatever...

Get your vote in soon, I will go with the majority vote most likely, although if it is 50/50 I will consider doing both. It's a matter of logistics for two of us doing the shipping, again, the price doesn't change is not significant.

TL:DR / Executive Summary - this is detailed information on ordering UC "Charter Member" T shirts

Since those who have voted were exactly 50/50 for Black imprint vice "UC Lucid Lime", and I won't know until I get orders whether I need 10, 50 or more, I decided to offer it both colors, and then went and checked the USPS website for pricing only to find that Priority Mail International goes up another #%?! dollar June 1st, here's how it should work:

Only one shirt can be sent first class, they weigh about one half pound or eight ounces for anyone lucky enough not to care. Maximum 13oz for First Class rate, and even that goes up 5¢ - WTH?

$6 US, $8 Canada and $10 overseas, but the simple code doesn't seem to support me letting you pick out sizes for two or more shirts, so if you want both or combined shipping, it has to go Priority Mail, even domestic US. That means I will have manually refund any extra postage you pay if you order 2, 3 or 4 t-shirts. Please pick lowest price shipping for the 2nd (3rd & 4th) and PM me if you order more than one, and I will immediately refund the extra $6/$8/$10.

The USPS increase means that up to four t-shirts can go Small Flat Rate box which is now $21 for Canada and $25 overseas adding yet another dollar to what you are already being ripped off.

That also means that I won't get any discounts even if 20 of each is ordered because going with both colors means that I have to place two orders. Makes no damn sense, but that's the facts...

So, if you have two, three or four shirts going to the same address you can share the shipping costs, but they all have to ship to one location.

Joe will wake up to find the code and graphics stuffed into his e-mail box, hopefully they will be available here in the next 24 hours, but by the weekend, for sure, even if I have to go whack on the code for the PayPal button. Due to the way that works, I'll just be eating the 4% "discount" fee they charge.

I wish I could circumvent the US Postal Service, but it is not possible. That means if you want Priority shipping outside the United States and only order one shirt, it costs more for shipping than the shirt. Not a darned thing I can do about it except ask you to be patient and use First Class for $10.

The cost per shirt is $16, except 2XL/3XL/4XL adds $1, $2 & $3 respectively. If we sell a 100 or so, I will either refund everybody $1 or figure out something worth putting in the box with your shirt(s).

These are top notch Gilden 8000 self wicking ("PlayDry") 50/50 cotton/poly excellent quality tees.

The initial order window will be at least ten days, and once I place the order it's 10 business days (two weeks) before I get them to ship to you, so best case US they will be in your hands in about a month. After that, I will offer them without the "Charter Member" description, but I expect the price will be the same.

Best I can do unless you want something truly cheap, like iron on or wear three times and discard shirts.

I voted for black. Not that the UC green isn't nice but the black on grey looks classy... :ugthink:

I'm down for one and will likely add a second.

Now available for pre-order. Please see two prior messages for details.

If you are domestic/US, $6 "Priority Mail" should be automatically selected.

For Canada, you should be able to select $10 economy or $21 Priority shipping, if you are overseas it should be select $12 economy or $25 Priority Mail International choice for shipping. The shipping method is chosen during the PayPal checkout, not the form online here.

The second order window closes Sunday night, June 28th at midnight Eastern time, then shirts should be ordered the next day with delivery around July 15th. US delivery should take 2-3 days, foreign depends on shipping method chosen and customs clearance. Unfortunately I have NO influence there.

NOTE: IF YOU ORDER 2 SHIRTS, PLEASE SELECT LOWEST PRICE SHIPPING FOR ALL BUT THE FIRST AND pm ME SO I CAN REFUND ALL EXTRA SHIPPING. 3 or 4 SHIRTS SHIP FOR DOUBLE COST. ALL MUST HAVE IDENTICAL SHIPPING ADDRESS! . Refunds will be done once a daily.

You MUST be logged in to "see" the order page

No problem, take your time - you basically have ten days, still.

Let me see if I can't find a good sizing chart for Kai. I remember seeing it, but don't recall if it was on the printing company or Gildan's website. In either case, it's still going to be Imperial and not metric.

Here you go (with close-up)
tmp_11090-2015-05-08 15.25.02-1027299327.jpg
tmp_11090-2015-05-08 15.27.38-275112147.jpg
Please note that even though they are in the generic Gildan sizing chart, "5XL" & "YXS" are not available in this particular fabric (Gildan 8000 50/50 cotton/poly). Also, just a side note, most 100% cotton garments have shrinkage if just washed & dried normally, but 50/50 tends to not shrink as much.

I do see a few comments on the Gildan website indicating that this particular style runs a little small, and then again many others say it is mostly "true to size". I ordered one each color to see what we are going to be getting, and they will be here before I place the order.

No, American brand: Gildan (which my phone tries to put an 'e' in, so I am bound to have typed Gilden).
