No race, Mate. Was just letting you know that the info had already been posted is all. Didn't want to have the board get cluttered with duplicate information when we already had a thread going for just such stuff. Doubly so since this is the New & Custom Deck section, hardly the right venue for such postings. This and the holiday promo thread should probably be in the General Section, or perhaps stickied as an announcement again since we're starting to see the holiday sales emerge as we get closer to Christmas, Chanukah, Festivus, Kwanzaa, etc...

You notice how the spinner seems to speed up a bit over high prizes and slow down over the little stuff, or the no prize slot?

Yep, seen it before elsewhere. They make it a wheel (or something similar) to give the impression of everything having the same chance, but after a few spins you clearly see that the odds are weighted differently. I'm used to it by now, but it's still kinda dodgy.

Believe me, it's not just graphics. If the odds weren't weighted they'd be giving out a lot of high-end stuff.

It's still free stuff, so I'm not complaining. But don't think for a second that there is actually a wheel like the one we see spinning somewhere, if there even is one some of the stuff will only cover a sliver of it while things like "No reward" and the 50 elite points will cover its majority.

Lol of course, its exactly what i meant, the wheel is just graphics to bring a little more excitement, but no way are the odds as shown in the wheel's proportion, i think everyone knows that lol

Yep, it's just like hitting the spin button on a fruit machine. The odds of hitting a jackpot aren't in your favor. The spinning wheel graphic is just there to build tension. Once you hit the spin button the system already knows what you're getting.

I'm already up 1100 elite pts, so I'm happy. Today was my first 'No Reward' day. Also wish I had waited to buy the Rarebits a few days so I'd get the free spins but didn't expect them to last this long.

Anyone wanna spin for me? I literally cannot have the worst luck. I got 50 miserable points the first spin and "No Reward" ever since. This is some serious BS. :|
