Account's email

Hello,

I was looking for some playing cards on Portfolio52 and wrote to many members that have the decks I'm looking for in their trade list. Unfortunately nobody answers (I think most of them don't log in to Portfolio52 anymore :( ). Is it possible to have the email address that is linked to the account?

Don't think this is possible... I doubt people would want their email disclosed to everyone that's in P52. I do agree most people don't even know they got message in P52, at least I've discovered messages quite far away from my inbox.

However, most people that are on P52 on UC probably has the same username so maybe you can look them up that way?

I tried, but apparently the one I'm looking for the most doesn't :/

Are email notifications of a message (like we get here) possible?

If not perhaps that's the feature request that you should go for.

The messages system is a little faulty. Sometimes the messages simply don't get delivered so it's worth sending them again to those who don't answer. Email notifications also work randomly, I've had an email notifying me about a message twice out of about 6 messages in total.

I have similar issues. I would say 7 out of 10 times, I never get a reply. Whether that is because nobody checks, or the message does't go through properly is anyones guess. In the last week I have been unable to send any messages at all, it just times out and gives me an error message, which is maddening to no end when you are actively seeking out those coveted decks.

I would have to agree that locking down a system that also sent a notification to the users actual eMail reliably (like here on UC) would greatly improve the experience.
