Custom card protectors

Unread post by ccralleo »

I have been working on this project for a few months trying to get it most of the way done before I posted it here... I'm pretty close to done and wanted to share...
For those of you who not only collect cards but play cards as well... You'll appreciate these. I looked everywhere online to find unique card protectors that are not only different, but elegant too. I couldn't find anything that was simple and hand made so I decided to make some myself using several exotic woods.
I love to play cards but I spend most of my time on the other side of the table dealing. And honestly if you play cards regularly you NEED one of these! Maybe not all the time but at least for when your stuck in the 1 or 9/10 seat. I've pulled in many cards that weren't protected and something simple like this is one way to prevent your AA's from getting swept into the muck. Anyway... Let me know what ya think.

I like the idea. It's a little bit chunky and another thing to remember as I scramble out to the casino. But the custom part is appealing, depending on how custom you're planning to go.

I don't watch TV poker tournaments and just casually play with friends. I had no idea this was even a thing. TIL... :)

The wood grains look nice and in some photos it's so well sanded/polished I thought it was stone!
