[CardCollector87] Small sub-set of my collection

Unread post by CardCollector87 »

Here are a couple of pics of my collection. I own over 500 decks total and I have been addicted to collecting playing cards for close to 10 years now. I originally got hooked after watching a youtube video for a tutorial for an easy to do card trick and noticed the person in the video was using an unfamiliar deck. After looking through his comments, he said he was using the Black Tiger (red pips) deck from Ellusionist. I immediately checked them out and have been hooked to collecting from then on. Then I was curious how many other companies were offering unique decks and stumbled upon Dan and Dave's Smoke and Mirrors decks. I fell in love at first sight and bought a set and did tricks that used both decks so I could tell spectators I was gonna use smoke and mirrors to show them something amazing. Then I came across Theory 11 and The House of Playing Cards and others. My wife has taken a liking to some of the cards and has started a small collection of her own. Needless to say my wallet is hurting lol. When I buy decks I always buy at least 3-4 so I can have one to open, one unopened, and one or two to keep in reserve or to sell when they are rare. Some I buy bricks cause I know I will wear them out or use them for poker games. Sorry for the long intro, just wanted to give some insight. Take a look at my collection below. I grabbed just one of each deck I own for each collection.

Here is my Ellusionist Collection (in the lucite case is Black Ghost v1 and on top of the lucite case is White Ghost v1, at the bottom are the gaff decks I have):
