Introduction
I guess most of you would know me as the moderator that handled the 2013 best decks contest, and one that dishes out pretty harsh criticisms to decks that are not up to par. Im mainly a collector from all the way across the world (i hate shipping rates), does simple stuff like fanning, faros, riffles, dribbles to get the deck into shape but little less.

One other interest of mine is photography, so im hoping this thread would serve to be more of a combination of the two hobbies. Now while i dont quite have the time now, final year in university, busy as hell, ill start off by posting photos i have taken in the past. So lets just have fun, and if you are a photographer as well i would love to hear your opinion, criticisms etc. I really dont mind So ill fire away!!

Haha I forgot to mention, I'm using a Canon 600d, which is a Rebel T3i (I think ?! No idea what system the US uses) with a Canon 50mm 1.8, Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 and Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 (although never used on cards, but I'd just mention it)

Thanks Lotrek ! Cant wait to get my hands on Grotesque so i can take more photos of them. Cant seem to find a timeless deck though, i have a pocket watch waiting to take a picture with it =)

My crappy cellphone camera is a big reason why I almost always post my "grid" scans rather than photos. (with scans, the subject is almost always in focus).

Thanks tom hahah I tend to crack my decks open slowly, not all at once. Interestingly, I think it's the cello that made this photo work though, as the light was reflected from the back of the black artisan onto the face of the white, so the cello helped to reflect.

Also I tend to keep the bottom of the cello on the deck to protect it, and it's a pain to take it off and put it back on
