One time donation
Friends of UC
Hopefully obvious, the left one is 1-time donations, the right one lets you pick a $5, $10 or $20 monthly donation "subscription". If any problems, let me know! Don't forget to follow-up with a message to "FriendOfUC@gmail.com" with your username here, because I won't attribute it to your real name. Funding donated here stays here, is used to pay hosting fees, domain name registration, and other costs associated with maintaining the UC forums here.

Thanks (again), thanks and thanks!!

As always, please don't forget to follow the last step in the instructions, which is to send me mail from the account you used (or any, for that matter) that ties your donation back to your username, which of course can be totally anonymous and not necessarily tell me anything about who makes the donation.

Thanks to the many donations from "Friends of UC" this user-supported website is already prepaid two years into the future - with professional grade and bandwidth hosting on "HostGator" already paid until mid-2018 and the domain registration is paid through 2018 as well. Friends of UC have paid $9.99 cents a month for me to have a subscription to Adobe "Photography" part of Creative Crowd, including the ability to use full-blown versions of both PhotoShop and LightRoom as well as the ability for me to examine and figure out how anything an artist has created using Adobe's Illustrator (any version) looks on an on-going basis.

Thank you, personally, and as a team - for all every one of you does to keep this website free, unbiased, open and the definitive source for everything related to cardistry, magic and "all things playing cards".

As we approach the "real" (as opposed to every fake member that's ever even tried to log on ever) 2000 members as well as 100,000 topics, UC carries on with a new venture "U C Deck Sales", which will be hosted on Shopify, the Carat Card Case[tm] sales will move there, as well as anything that might appear in the current "https://www.unitedcardists.com/ucoffers.php" page. We just took a look at the structure of the forums which had gotten a little bit of fat and trimmed it somewhat, and in doing so it might be confusing just a little to long-time members - for a week. Otherwise, it's just a bit leaner and meaner and easier to find your way around, and some obsolete or virtually obsolete forums that either might as well be deprecated were folded into other related topics, or removed all-together (i.e. truly deprecated), and certain things were moved to a more logical new home, hopefully without really throwing a monkey wrench into anything.

If you see something that causes you severe heartburn (and in "Merikun, that's just sour stomach, nothing to do with your ticker being on fire), please let me know and we'll think about it. I think between the logical combinations, moves, removes, rearrangements, removal of "sticky" threads and such it's leading to a cleaner (and like I said before leaner) website. "I've been known to be wrong before"...

One of the additions coming in the U C Deck Sales Shopify store is Eli Retschlag's cardistry and magic videos, as well as his unbelievably diverse collection of ever expanding card clips, which he designs and makes by hand one at a time. There will be a few other surprises as we move forward, but cardistry being our main focus and the origin of this website itself, we're going to focus a bit more on the original intent for UC. After all, it's not "UnitedCollectors"...

Updated the "Wall of Heroes" with another "Friend of UC".

The thought has come to me that I could have EASILY overlooked someone contributing over the past month or so - because I have just plain been distracted. I hate excuses, and there is none, so if you have contributed and you don't see your name (or 'handle' AKA 'alter ego') up there, PLEASE let me know soonest!

Another thanks to Räpylätassu for yet another donation, on top of his regular contributions. Also AceCollectible Cards joined the team.

I should point out that since we are running significantly behind on the 2018 Annual Decks, I took funds from the accumulation of "Friends of UC" donations and paid two years ahead on the hosting and backup fees, which are paid through mid-January 2020 at this point.

MANY thanks to all of you who keep chunking a donation into that kitty every month, whether it's $5, $10 or even $1. Every little bit helps!
