When you say "private crowdfunding", what does that mean? Private as in something you'll set up yourself, or just "more private" than KS?

LOl, nice gif there.

To answer questions:

Yes, there will be plenty of forewarning on the timing of the new Tendril. I had fun with the little "surprise" campaign with Aurum, but this will get a normal rollout and previews.

As to "private crowdfunding" I mean utilizing a system like Kings Wild Funded has. That is, crowdfunding but not on kickstarter, using an open source platform. Using Kings Wild Funding itself is a possibility, or I could directly use the same system with my own setup. I am still weighing the many pros/cons of all these approaches. Not giving extra profit away to KS is always appealing, but there is no denying their market reach and number of eyeballs either. Being a web developer however, I do appreciate having more direct control over things, so we'll see what happens.

Thanks, I'm actually more excited about the potential of that one than any of the others in the pipeline. Just imagine that in multiple shiny metallics...

As a little side note, USPCC prices are way higher than they used to be. Which is surprising, as you'd think that having actual competition would tend to drive prices lower. If you want any of the nice and fancy features collectors expect today, the decks are quite a lot more expensive than when Encarded started 3 years ago...there is reason that most fancy decks these days are $12+ retail now...

EPCC/LPCC is apparently higher priced these days too, compared to earlier. What gives, card printers?

Realization that they can charge that amount and people are still willing to pay. Just market corrections is all.

EPCC is a little more costly then when it started, but it's still noticeably lower, like the entire EPCC deck is about what the box costs from USPCC if you do any kind of fancy features.

While waiting for some quotes I messed around with some ideas for the future Chancellor deck. This just might turn into a handmade foiled box concept, someday...

Sorry for the late comment. I have been busy with the family. Thanks for this pic. I consider it a nice b-day gift as you managed to post it on my b-day. :D Did I mention it is beautiful? I liked the FB page BTW. Sorry I didn't get around to it sooner. I'm just not a huge FB person.

Playing with ideas for one of the limited rewards of the Tendril project. I love making hand-crafted boxes and am working on the details of my "MegaTuck"

I'd love to but I'm afraid International shipping is putting me off. I'm going to have to start going with a freight consolidator in the US, it's just getting waaaay too expensive now.
