I'm late to the ball game but would still like to play. I figure this will be a good communication tool as I have few project lined up for 2014 and beyond... that sounded epic.

All questions are welcome, I'll tell you as much as I can without giving away to many secrets or breaking any NDAs.

Do you have any plans or interest in creating a transformation deck?

Hey Jackson, seems like you have a few irons in the fire right now. With Sherlock shipping, the Independence just finishing, and now a second run for Moriarty, then you pop up with the Tally-Ho deck. Is that from your deal with USPCC, or a KS campaign? A ball-park date of when it will be available?

Here's a crazy one. With the military decks that you have planned, any thought of doing a run with the plastic Kem cards? After spending almost 20 years going to the desert and back, I can tell you a regular deck gets beat up pretty quickly. Maybe an "armoured" version like Karnival did with their Death Head deck. Just a thought, and a crazy one, I know.

Cheers,
Mike

Love this idea, I would love to see what you could come up with here using your detailed artistic style. Hmm, since you have a trend with historical decks, how about 'History in a Deck' where each card is an iconic moment/person in world history in transformation format of course. Only downside is I'll need another room for uncut sheets....

I know I will probably catch flack for this statement but I personally am not a big fan of transformation decks. (especially true transformation decks that abide by the unwritten transformation deck rules) I went through a period where I really tried to like them and I researched them but the art really never inspired me. They always seem so cluttered.

I like Emanuel's decks for sure but a true transformation deck collector would def say that they don't abide by the "transformation deck rules" thats probably why I like the style and feel that they are not so cluttered.

The Tally Ho project is NOT for my deal with USPCC for sure. That is my own personal Kings Wild Project deck. It is very much for real and will be produced. Not sure on a date for Tally Hos yet I have 3 or so deck that I will be working on and releasing before the holiday season. Tally Ho will not be a kickstarter.

As for KEM cards. ABSOLUTLY I love KEM cards the KEM arrows are one of my favorite decks. I've been in talks with USPC about a Fed 52 Set of KEM Cards but they are so damn expensive to produce and would be really expensive at retail because of it.

Maybe transformation decks are just waiting for an artist like you to perfect and unclutter them...........

PS IDK if you like to read but the British Author Brian Lumley's Necroscope series of books would be rich fodder for cards

I think Tugsy and his board pre-date the December 2012 Urban Punk deck, but the design is unlikely something the Uncommon Beat folks would have seen. So coincidence.

My Kings Wild Logo was created in 2010 or so no there was no relationship.

Regarding the Hive deck... I think that I read in the comments section that the Hive is already in production and it won't be on KS so pre-orders will be via the Kings Wild Website. Will it be a limited 1,000 or will it be unlimited?

If you don't mind letting us know... what deck will you be releasing after the Hive deck? I'm hoping it'll be the start of the Military series. :P

Awesome! Thanks for the info, Jackson :D

I like how your Tally-Ho version is called "Turtle Back." Coincidentally, right now is the middle of the Sea Turtle Nesting season where I am.

Out of these decks only the Military Decks will be Kickstarters. Just because of the theme and audience Kickstarter is a smarter choice as mainly Card Collector's are the only people who know about my website. The others will be on my website.

OH YA! I forgot one other HUGE! Classified deck as well :)

I thought that was what Jackson has said, but - subject to change, I wanted to be sure, and the man himself knows best.

OK, so the PIX is 4242, what's the last four digits? I have a memory like a bear trap. Mwah hah hah...

I definitely wish there was a solid date for The Hive, but unfortunately there isn't one yet :(

It's going through the printing process: proofing, file corrections, double and triple checking everything.

Definitely exciting time. It's nice that the project is all finished and really out of my hands now.

On to the next project now! And this isn't listed as one of Jackson's classified decks so I guess that's no help there .

Thanks, Jackson! As always much apprecaited even with that obsolete "AE" thingy in there!

Everybody - the site says "Less than 50" but I'm pretty certain I heard Jackson say it was closer to 30 decks of the Baker Street Limited Edition decks available at this point: $45 is going to go awfully fast starting at 1PM EDT/noon CDT/10AM PDT/8AM in Hawai'i (or wherever you happen to be at the time - don't depend on me: World Clock)...

Thanks for the discount code Jackson. I looked at the site and they all say sold out. Is this just in preparation of the start time in just over two hours?

"It's in there" (somewhere). Until 16 minutes and 3 seconds from now they will show "Sold Out!". At that point those specific items will go live (even though Jackson's not home right now - he's obviously not far from a WiFi hotspot).
