Re: Bicycle Cyclist Error Card
USPS announced that these decks have been misprinted and will be corrected.

Re: Bicycle Cyclist Error Card
Did you find the error on a Red deck? I thought the error was only in the "Neon" decks.
Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if the deck contains the error without opening the deck? The "Bicycle Team" says there isn't but I thought I would ask anyways.
Thanks.

Re: Bicycle Cyclist Error Card
I have several red decks with the data code 4816-W9421 and the 10 of diamonds is correct.
Would the mis-printed card/decks have any value?

It's pretty rare for any misprinted playing cards to have much extra value, right?AnotherBuck wrote:Would the mis-printed card/decks have any value?

Re: Bicycle Cyclist Error Card
I have all three colors of this deck and i just went back and looked and both the neon-yellow and the blue one have this error. The red is the only one that does not.
5015-U9433 - Error (neon)
5015-U9432 - Error (blue)
1016-W6489 - No Error (red)
Unfortunately there is no difference (other than color obviously ) on the exterior that I can see that would allow for one to tell if the error existed before opening.

Re: Bicycle Cyclist Error Card
Hi! This is actually my first post here lol. The Cyclist Deck is kind of a small obsession of mine. When I first started collecting cards and getting into Sleights/Cardistry, I loved using the neon deck. Once I found out the exclusivity of the color, I became more interested. I've opened 8 Neon decks, and every single one was printed in 2015, and had this defect. I still have 12 sealed neons, and I'd bet all of them have this defect. All the Red and Blue decks I've opened haven't had the defect and were printed in 2016.
I was surprised to see a post about a deck of cards that has a special meaning to me. Although it wasn't my first deck of cards I purchased, it definitely was the first deck that kickstarted (no pun intended) my collecting, as well as a passion for selling decks on eBay. I never make more than a couple dollars, but I love customer service and I love making sure each deck is packaged and shipped properly. It's fun
I recently went to a Wally World that had at least a dozen Neons in stock, and these were definitely sold out just a couple weeks ago. I'm going to buy a deck and open it just to see if it's still a 2015 run or if it's a corrected 2016 run. Again, seeing as the Neon was a limited edition, I'd bet that all of the stock was printed in 2015. I'm not much of a betting man, though. That's why I learned cold stacking
