Apologies if I haven't found an existing topic for this.
Do any members use or recommend a mail forwarding service from the US to Canada (east coast). I've googled a few but don't have much to tell them apart. I'd like to have them hold decks for a while then send them at once. Shipping costs for all the Kickstarters and ebay items is starting to hurt.
Thanks

I've heard of something called "Pierre" which is apparently really good
Sorry, internal joke. We have quite a few canadians here, I'm sure some of them know about something.

Re: Mail Forwarding (US to Canada)
Sorry, I don't use that service myself, yet. I know CBJ has a US mailbox that he visits to pick up decks. Not practical though if you're too far from the border.
The post cost is even worse if you're trying to sell decks from here, so try not to acquire decks, like I have, that you might decide to ditch later.
By the way you are Crazy for as long as you have a post count of 8 - see it just above your rank.

Re: Mail Forwarding (US to Canada)
Hey,
I do have a mailbox in the states from a company called CBI ( http://www.cbiusa.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). They won't consolidate all the packages into one though, and they don't forward packages along.
I would recommend making friends with someone in the States that will do this service for you.
Jay

Re: Mail Forwarding (US to Canada)
I've been using http://www.viabox.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for a while now and had 1 order shipped to me so far.
They consolidate and are basically free but only hold the item for 90 days.
Only worth it if you are consolidating 5+ packages I think.

Re: Mail Forwarding (US to Canada)
Weird how it's cheaper to ship to the UK or Asia than to Canada. Must be due to more volume.
Looks like the $20 shipping to Canada at viabox comes to about the same as the combined costs of shipito. BUT, shipito allows up to 1 kilo at that cost while viabox only allows 1 lb - less than half a kilo.

Re: Mail Forwarding (US to Canada)
The billable weight can work out strange, I had 1 brick in 4 packages, and it was 8lbs!! This is the only problem with the consolidation I think, Viabox keep each package in it's original bubble wrap, so if you only get a few decks in each package, the space can add up alot.
