Hey everyone,
I guess this request is aimed mainly at UK members or anyone who has friends in UK that could help.
So here is my problem. I am currently watching an eBay auction for a framed double uncut sheet of a vintage deck of cards. The seller has stated that the item is for collection only and after I exchanged a few emails with her, and at first she seemed to be willing to send it by courier, she decided to stick to her original plan. I am desperate to get it but have no idea how as I don't have any friends/family living in the area or close to it that I could ask to have it collected for me.
Is there anyone here who lives, or has friends/family who do, close to Settle in North Yorkshire?
I need someone who is willing to collect the framed uncut for me, the auction ends on Monday night, and have it posted either to my UK address or my Czech address (preferred option).
If anyone is willing to help please PM me and we'll sort out the details and some reward for the trouble
Thanks
Slava

And 300 from me!
What if you arranged the courier? - from her point of view it makes no difference who picks it up as long as you agree she is no longer responsible for it once it leaves her hands.

Thanks guys for replying!
I managed to convince her to send it few hours before the auction ended so it's already on it's way to my UK address but I won't be able to see it for another month.
She kept it 'collection only' till the end and nobody else bid on it so I think I got a very good bargain for £10

It was indeedJock1971 wrote:Was it the Dunhill Uncut ? That looked sweet
Can't find any info on how many uncuts were produced and if they were ever offered for sale. The woman that sold it used to work for Dunhill in the 70s and received it as a gift from the marketing manager.
