Unread post by Mike Ratledge »

This isn't a playing cards game, but a board game that I am helping with funding:

Operation Zetta, a retrofuteristic board game NOW FUNDING on Kickstarter. See their website Iongamedesign.com for more information. Immerse yourself in the game and be a part of the future. . It's going to be epic!

Yeah, I suppose that it should. I'll move it.

Before I order some of these for me and friends, I wanted to offer them to users here on UC.

I understand that this being a boardgame it is really outside of the normal scope here, but I can get them wholesale delivered to me and reship them much cheaper than you can order yourselves because AFAIK they are only available for sale by the original maker and shipped from Sweden, so the cost ($89 each) is amplified by the $35 shipping charge. That is $124 delivered.

If I can find enough to get 10 sets, I get free shipping to me, which will save even more, but foe now I have to expect to be able to sell them for $70 delivered in the US (I didn't check, but Canada delivery would likely add $15-$20?) Shipping went up even for USPS and Priority Mail again on 1 January...

I don't think I posted much here, but the result is spectacular! Truly a great game.

Any interest? I want to put together an order about the end of the month, which would mean delivery around mid to late Match. For now I need $85 delivered, hopefully we can get the free shipping and if I do, you'll get a $10 refund.

For now, if you are interested please send $85 to me a note here or by email (it's in my profile) and payment by PayPal to FriendOfUC@gmail.com

How did I never hear of this game?

I ended up getting SpaceCorp by GMT, but this looks good, too.
