New to this stuff

Unread post by Jgod »

Hey guys, I lurked for a bit before signing up now, thought I'd formally say hi.

My name's Justin and I'm from Pittsburgh.
I don't do magic, tricks, or anything but what drew me here was the appreciation of custom decks, as art, collector pieces, or whatever.
I'm into card games like Magic, but there's something neat to me about traditional cards and what you can get out of them.
Everything's digital these days so some analogue entertainment is nice, and it looks like we're seeing a resurgence of that?

There's a wealth of info here about the manufacturing process, and all the little details, it's fantastic.
I say this as someone who's an outsider looking into making (hopefully) interesting decks.
Google's indexing turns me here over and over so you guys are definitely doing something right.

Anyway, hope to add value here as a member!

Welcome Justin. Be careful, collecting cards can be costly and make you MAD. :ugdance: :ugdance: :ugdance:
Feeding the addiction one deck at a time.

Agree, great time to start collecting, but some of the decks you may have missed out on are getting harder to get and more expensive. Still, a great time to be involved. Welcome!!!
