Hi,
I'm an amateur, what, card trickster from the UK?
Shortly before christmas 2014 I gave up smoking and, in lieu of something do with my hands and - being a life-long fan of close-up card magic - decided to take up the art.
Two weeks later, I suffered a multiple stroke.
I got off lightly: my intellect (such as it is) escaped, but my right hand lost all sensation and co-ordination.
My physiotherapist hailed card manipulation as "just the job", so I'm practicing daily, and that's where I am today...
I look forward to being a part of this community!
Introduce myself, huh?
