historic card maker, delighted to be here

Unread post by Ladyheatherhall »

My name is Heather, and I research the history of the cards. In doing so, I found that the packs I wanted were unavailable, so I set out to produce them myself. To date, I have seven historic packs in production, all dating between 1390 and 1650. They have also been successfully tested by several magicians.
I have a few modern packs appropriate for crowd funding, But there are still several historic packs in queue.
You can find my packs and other wares at ladyheatherhall.com
or you can contact me at ladyheatherhall@humblechapeau.com

Hi there Heather.
Welcome to UC
I`m a huge fan and regular visitor to your website, not just to see your cards but your games and calligraphy. you should include a link to your website for others to find it quickly. Am excited to here about your thinking about crowd funding some of your decks.
Hope you have fun here at UC aand look forward to hearing some of your views.

Greetings and felicitations dear lady. Welcome to our humble abode. (Don't pay any attention to the groaning sounds. It's the collective sound of over used credit/debit cards) :ugthink:
If it's too loud.... you're too old!

Welcome to the boards!

I hate to be a pedant (who am I kidding - I LOVE to be a pedant), but do you mean "historical" as in reproductions / reconstructions of decks though history?

"Historic" means something else entirely (i.e. Momentus, famous, important, ...). I think the patterns are historic, your decks might be too - only time will tell.

I do like them very much though - the research and artistic & design skill needed to do what you've done is huge!

Welcome! I love history and so many historic decks have such interesting history and unique charm, I would love to see anything you might produce and make available. Please continue to share with us your progress and plans in these areas.
