Hi everyone.

Card collector from Denmark here. I also know a few awesome cardtricks, but card collecting is my main reason to join the forum.

I've been away from this hobby for a couple of years and just started dusting off my collection. I will be adding my collection to the database (saw the link somewhere on this forum) if anybody is interested. Highlights from my collection would include some Jerry's, White Centurions, Brown Wynn's and that kinda stuff.. and my favorites: Smoke and Mirrors V1 and V2. Gotta love those cards!

Anyway, since I've been away for a couple of years I have no clue what's going on. I've been browsing Ebay briefly just to get a feeling of the current prices and newly added decks. But the only real way to get back in touch with things is to hang around other card collectors, so that's why I'm here. Plus, I'm pretty sure the fact that card collectors and other cardists are awesome people hasn't changed much since I left the scene

Welcome Frimann79. There are definitely a lot of great decks that have come out in the last few years. Ask around if you wanna know what decks you should definitely inquire about. Check out out this thread for what the members here voted best of 2014.

Don't know if this will be news to you but there has been a climb in the number of decks released each year, so there's a lot to catch up on. Also, some new playing card printing companies have managed to give the USPCC some competition in the collectible cards market - Expert Playing Card Company (EPCC) from the CARC in New York - Legends Playing Card Company (LPCC) from Lawrence Sullivan, based in Asia. The two companies have also worked together to make the 'Exquisite' decks.
Even Make Playing Cards have been getting in on the KS action.

Ya, I can see a lot has been going on. That's a good thing though! Gives me an excuse to spend a lot of time updating me collection

The whole KickStarter thing seems pretty interesting. We didn't have that last time I was into card collecting. There are some really nice looking decks out there!

Ouch! Catching up is really expensive. Protip: Never stop collecting.. it will cost you a fortune when you start again, haha
