HTTPS/SSL encryption certificate expires 4-March

Guys & gals: the Comodo SSL certificate expires (again) - at least according to my notes - annually on the 4th of March. It has been a problem getting it renewed on time in the past, so I made a note to get a head start on it a week early this year.

Hopefully Hostgator will handle this correctly for the first time in three years and we won't have a lapse in SSL coverage, but knowing how it worked for the past two years I don't have a good feeling about it.

We'll see, I am off to try and get it renewed now.

I'd have to say that they fixed it since I had the second error-filled year of problems trying to get it renewed last year. I went to my HostGator portal and asked it to install a new free 1-year SSL (which is included in our business hosting plan) and as of no more than 30 minutes later - it's done:

New cert valid until Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 6:59:59pm EST (11:59:59pm GMT)
