SSL Certificate renewed - finally

Nothing is more embarrassing - for me, anyway - than having the SSL / HTTPS side give errors due to "expired certificate". I finally applied enough bitching online and by phone yesterday, and it was updated and installed overnight. I suppose in one year, it will happen again?

The fact is Friend of UC has paid for hosting through the end of February 2018 already - nearly two months ago. HostGator has an issue with how these are ordered - putting it simply, it does not work.

Nothing is more exasperating for a cyber security expert than problems with security. Two items need updating before the padlock will appear - the faveicon.ico needs to be stored on the HTTPS side, and the pointer to the SiteLock shield (of all things) needs to be called from the "high side".

I just sent Joe a request to catch those two items. Hopefully the padlock will be back very soon!

Should be fine now - just make sure you visit the site using the HTTPS protocol: https://unitedcardists.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(Note this wont work if you don't accept cookies)

I've just updated some settings to force the use of the HTTPS protocol and use of the secure port - you may need to log back in. (sorry about that!)

I noticed that the link to "Promotions and Offers" are directing to "http://unitedcardists.com/viewforum.php?f=61" and not the https version. As a result, every time you click on that sub-forum (while in https), it'll log you out.

Obsolete link that should have been deleted by now. You get to it through the "Marketplace" now, and what was happening was the "Count links" so it shows how many times it had been used was checked, and that jumps to an internal forwarder that we can't specify whether it's HTTP or HTTPS, so it was going to whatever works for everybody - and that used to be HTTP

I just removed it completely. Go directly to "Marketplace" instead, shouldn't be a problem. If I mis-diagnosed the problem, please let me know.
