So I was just flipping through the Kickstarter year end review slideshow, if you haven't seen it here it is: http://www.kickstarter.com/year/2012
The #1 category for Kickstarter was games raising 88 million dollars in 2012. This got me thinking, How much of that money came from playing card projects alone?
The answer:
$1,026,931
Over a million dollars in 2012 from playing card decks alone...
United Cardists, you should be proud, or maybe depressed depending on your spouse, that we spent over a million dollars on playing cards on Kickstarter alone in one year.
