Hi! I'm new to this forum, and wanted to see what advice or thoughts you guys had on a plain/minimalist design I've been experimenting with.
It's more meant to be an art kind of thing, but I'd still like it to be a playable deck. I'm sure this has probably been done before time and time again, but I love minimalist design so I wanted to try my own.
What do you think?
Thanks for any feedback

My advice for a minimalist deck is: No. Just no.

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

Re: Very Minimalist Deck
I think it's minimalist. I think it won't sell. If this is a personal project, go for it. If you think you could do a Kickstarter campaign with these, you should stop now.deepfry3 wrote:Hi! Re: Very Minimalist Deck
It's pretty simple.
I've seen this before.
You have the indices spell out the rank of the card. (one - three, eight, nine, ten) It breaks one of the rules.
The rank and suit of the card should be one symbol A,K,Q, J,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 You want to make it easy as possible when you peek from the hole. If you notice the ten card breaks the rule. K,Q,B,C, J,T,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,A The Jack or Joker should play a key role in a future game.
