Randy those Toga sleeves are amazing! Glad you got early physical proofs. Just adds to the greatness of these decks!

Re: Fully-Custom ANCIENT ROME Deck
Thanks Rich! I'm glad you like the Toga Sleeves!!
Last night I finished up the first Joker. The reference is my favorite statue of Ancient Rome - Augustus of Prima Porta.

Thanks RichK!!RichK wrote:Wow, amazing Joker! Did the statue breastplate have all the people on it too?
Yep, the breastplate has a bunch of figures on it. I simplified them quite a bit, to account for the small printing size of the chest.
Here's a closeup shot of the breastplate - https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... %2C_02.JPG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Awesome! Just one detail: the eagle bleeds on the border. Will this be a problem? I see how carefully you hid the cross bands fading to black so...

When I was adding the Eagle, I didn't worry about the Eagle bleeding into the side edge - since it's just a Joker.
But now that I think about it, there are some games that use the Jokers. I just fixed it where the Eagle is faded out before it gets to the side edge.
Thanks for pointing it out!!!!

Re: Fully-Custom ANCIENT ROME Deck
Thanks Levent!!
Last night I finished up the second Joker. It's getting close now!
And yes, Sprouts, they're both Red Jokers. I think it will be pretty easy to differentiate between the two.

Great job Randy.

Thanks RichK and NineLives!!
I'm still working on the eleventh Court, but here's a look at the ROME Coin.
It will have a Shiny Gold Finish, plus Red Enamel on the Front and Blue Enamel on the Back.
thanks, Randy

Re: Fully-Custom ANCIENT ROME Deck
Thanks Rich and Bruno!
Last night I finished up the eleventh Court - Cassius' Jack of Clubs.
That just leaves 1 left!
I'm shooting for an October 13th Kickstarter launch.

Your pinky should not be bigger than your 3rd finger. Jacks usually have weapons, but this deck is different.

Hey Sprouts,sprouts1115 wrote:Your pinky should not be bigger than your 3rd finger. Jacks usually have weapons, but this deck is different.
I did some changes to Cassius' fingers. Correct, in a Deck like this, I couldn't care less about the usual weapons or flowers the Jacks, Queens and Kings carry!
Last night I finished up the very last card of the Decks - Servilia's Queen of Diamonds.
Next week I'll start setting up the Kickstarter page, and hope for a launch of October 13th!
