Prizmo Playing Cards
A friend and I recently started working on designs for a minimal deck to launch via Kickstarter. The project is still a work in progress, but so far we have the backs and some of the pips, with a unique idea. We're considering creating something that neither of us have ever seen on a deck of cards before. An "easy ace recognition" system of sorts. We intend to keep the deck minimal and make the pips for each ace, possibly even the court cards, highly stylized in order to make it stand out in a fanned deck of cards. The deck design is inspired by low poly art and is centered around minimalism and geometry. Please let us know what you think, any feedback is highly appreciated!

I've included some additional pictures of the cards, specifically the idea of special ace pips.

Unfortunately, I don't know how much potential this project has.
The back design doesn't jump out at all. I think, right off the bat, the minimalist angle doesn't fly. In addition, the colors you've chosen aren't very good. I couldn't see myself using these to actually play cards.
Best of luck, but I'm not interested.

Re: Prizmo Playing Cards
Whilst TGunitedcardists comments might seem harsh it is straight to the point.
There are hundreds of these sort of projects in the graveyard of KS if you have a quick search.
The design itself just doesn't stand out enough, and those cool crystal pips you have will be lost when scaled down, they will look like print errors.
I think minimalist decks do work but quite a lot of people absolutely hate them, strangely the less that's on the card the more work you have to do.
Do you have any court card ideas yet?

TheEvilGeniuZ - Have to agree with NCarter. That diamond index pip will probably lose out in the detail and the less that's on the card the more work you have to do.
