I started designing these cards a while ago and have recently been encouraged by friends to get them printed.
The royals and numbers are done. I kept all the traditional French symbols including the weapons, flowers and cards like the One-Eyed Jacks and Suicidal King. I've included a few as well as a Joker below.
I've been working on the backs lately and have settled, more or less, on the red back below. The cardinal holds personal significance, but I'm still on the fence about it and the fact that it is not mirrored.
Thoughts and feedback welcome.

Re: The Pixel Deck
Just a rush of nostalgia from the days I played Solitaire on my Windows 95 Packard Bell.
I love what you've done! Although personally I'd suggest making the eyes less cartoony, so to speak.

Re: The Pixel Deck
I do like pixel decks but it is a little bit "done", maybe trying adding something unique to the deck, have a look at these;
And just a tip, though I like the lovely red canary, card players go bonkers when you make the backs of a playing cards none reflective, its a dead give away that you have an Ace or Court card, its one thing to do card faces one way but the backs of the cards is a big no no.
Looking forward to seeing more of your project!
