Its nice but does it match the front?

If your having trouble with colours is the image in RGB format or CMYK?

Remember RGB for web :)

I like the new back design, but i think the middle needs a little more work, and if your faces can be of the same style, you might have a nice deck =)

I get a wilderness/Christmas feel from it. Not bad. :)

Since your first deck you've had a knack for decent back designs. But I felt the courts was where the whole thing fell apart. I'd love to see what you've been working on for this new project.

I will be uploading a customized version of the courts very soon.
Do you think it would be better with really detailed courts or more simple courts with the back design style?
Thanks!

Here is a customized version of the old courts, what do you think?
If you don't like it I can try doing another set completely different.
Sorry for being out of order.

I'll be honest. I don't like the previous courts at all I'm afraid. But that's just me.

However, what you've been doing with the joker is quite interesting!

I agree. It would be VERY interesting to see the courts done in the same style as the Joker.

Ok, I'll do some sketches and post them.
Should I keep the simple or very detailed?

I think first of all, the king can be larger, your pips can be smaller to make space. It looks a little muddy now, more details would be better :D

I agree with the above. Also think if you really need the corner ornaments since they also limit the size of the courts.

You're off to a good start though, these are much more interesting than the previous courts :)

I like them, it might just be me but the white in the background looks quite harsh, have you tried other colours or even textured backgrounds, a light cartridge paper texture might look nice and would certainly link in with the brush painted theme, even that yellowed background from your other image post would be nice.

My only other point would be that pink floral line, have you tried other colours? I think a green, brown even light grey might be nice earthy colour palette to use, I think personally the light pink is a little bit distracting.

Great work so far.

I was thinking going with a yellowed background. The light pink is because of red pips. Do you think I should just go with one color for that part in the whole deck?

Colour schemes are one of the most important things about custom decks, I personally would use an "Earthy" colour palette (eg. browns, greens, dark reds etc) as I think it would fit perfectly with the style of the deck. Try some experiments, leave the desk and return in 20 mins and have another look, I always find this works well when I'm coming up with ideas.

When is this deck coming out? It looks great! I like that Ace of Spades A LOT, don't you do anything to that design. The courts, the back... All very nice work.

This deck needs to happend.

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.
