Hi,

I'm new here, but I thought I would throw these two half done designs out to the community for some criticism. Please let me know what you think, Opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Would you buy them? What could be changed?

Thanks again!

P.S. I also have a totally Black and White deck in the works for Color. If you want to see pictures, please lemme know.

HaHahHAA..Don`t worry ...give it time and you`ll soon get some feedback.

Personally the cards hurt my eyes...sorry the colours are just too much for me

Tbh these look like they were made in MS Paint. Which isn't a good thing.

The feedback and attention an artist gets from us is directly proportional to the time and effort the artist has taken with their design.

I asked for criticism not insults. I fail to under stand why people have to go so hard on beginners. #grunt

The geometric back reminds me of the Virts a bit and there is some interesting geometric elements there, but I think you need different colors, perhaps white space like Virts, maybe added texture/shading? Not sure.
Image

The re-colored courts...I don't care for standard courts that are just tweaked, not different enough for me. These colors are definitely 'in your face' and perhaps a bit too bold.

The sword back appears to be 2 clip art images pasted together. Don't get offended! I just mean you need to add shading, details, other elements to make them appear more than just a vector image (or done in MS Paint).

The sword image faded on the back of the courts, I would suggest moving past that.

Overall I would suggest you not give up, but instead focus on a more totally custom deck, practice and learn more about advanced image software (or utilize it more if you already are an expert).

How is that anything close to an insult? It's a fact that that's how they look to me.

Seriously, I meant no ill will writing that, it's merely my opinion. I'm sorry if you don't like it.

Alright. Apologies. Can someone kill this topic? I think it's pretty clear I can scrap these.

@BlackAcid - You have thin skin. Don't take things so seriously. MagikFingerz is a respected person in the community. You will not win many wars if you go against him.

You need to be aware of this area. This is what ppl will see in your fan.

Your borders are a bit thick. Make them smaller. This is all the advise I can give you for the time you spent making the prototype.
