I'm really glad I have come across this forum.

I've come to your website as I am planning to get a custom deck printed in the next few months. I am a professional magician and I am looking to get a really nice classy design where my website, basic contact details would be subtly inserted on the back design. An essential aspect for me would be the handling of the cards for card magic.
I am currently considering the Expert Playing Card Company and Legends Playing Card Company.

After searching your website, I also came across MakePlayingCards.com. Would the 310gsm German master quality card stock with black core (linen air finish) be the closest to bicycle card stock?

I will eventually need to get samples from these companies, but from you experience, which card stock would you say is good for card magic. I am open to other suggestions of card companies.

Depending on costs, I am looking at a run of 500 or 1000 decks.

I am gonna get i touch with various printers but for a quality deck (with just customised backs) what sort of price am I looking at?

Any idea of cost for hiring an artist to do the back design for me?
