Fractal cards - a playable version

With the astrology based deck on hold due to an illustrator hiatus, I am moving forwards with a design I can produce myself based on fractal art and digital image manipulation. My last fractal deck was very artsy for art sake, but falls short in game play-ability in real world situations - though it is quite amusing to make it through a few games while wearing 3D glasses. So starting with a standard deck design, I am creating custom pips and suit indicators using 3D fractal generation techniques. The court costumes while now just re-colored will eventually be comprised of fractal design elements as well, and of course the back design will be some really cool looking 3D fractal design... not sure whether it will be bordered or borderless.

Here is a look at some of the first stuff out of the mill. In the future, I might see how much of the astrology deck concepts I can integrate into this deck design without effecting its clarity of design and usability.

Custom pips - check

You can move a bit more up on that AoS. Halfway to the cut border. Get in that no mans land. Don't be scarred. This looks like something Randy would do. That's a complement.

Not sure if I understand where fractals come in?

The pips are the fractals. By animating them and finding the good parts, then using that art for the back and court decorations, I hope to create a deck entirely of fractal art that has good eye appeal and play-ability.

I had to optimize the GIFs to get them to fit in the upload limit, so pardon the glitches.

For a little peek of the process... here is a short animation I made using the equations of the spades pip - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bh_tWT-Q5i8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

From the animation, I selected four frames and mirrored then... a first look into the search for THE back design... there will be hundreds to chose from by the time I am done... in fact, the final back art might be composites of multiple frames.
