Rainbow Illusion Playing Cards

Unread post by lms_jam »

Hello everybody I have been working hard to refine my new deck and I have some pictures to show you guys. I wanted the deck to resemble a standard deck but still be different. I will have more pictures to post soon. What do you think so far.

I don't really understand the connection between the name of the deck and the theme. I don't like the aces. The design of the aces doesn't seem to make sense. And why is the JoD holding the blade of the sword? Other than that, I do like the redesign of the standard courts. I find it refreshing to look at.

I'm not sure what the JoD is holding on a standard deck but one deck I did see had him holding a sword like this I did wonder myself why he was holding the blade. I am going to look and see if there is another deck out there that shows what the long object is supposed to be. Over time as the decks were copied some of the design elements changed.

So after looking around again there are several JoD's holding swords similar to mine.

Here are all the aces together. They represent the illusion side of the deck as far as the title is concerned the word stone represents the colors in the deck.

So I just finished up the Queen of Clubs I have 2 left to draw. I think the Jokers are going to be the real trick. Overall I think this deck is coming together real nice very happy with it so far. Does anybody have any thoughts about the style the jokers should reflect as I can't change up the Bicycle Jokers. I was thinking one joker would be red green and the other blue orange.

So I am also trying to come up with a name change.
Any thoughts about what the theme of this deck could be. Thanks again for your input.
