Re: SAWDUST
It may be a while... This is his 3rd deck, and he still hasn't released the second one: "clipped wings".
I am anxiously awaiting both releases as well!
Emmanuel, your art just seems to get better and better! i may need to get my first ever uncut sheet for this deck.

Re: SAWDUST
Wow, I really love the way this deck is coming together. Your art style is so interesting and I love seeing the animations on your site showing how they are done. So much talent! The Curator deck is one of my favorites to show people and I always have to tell them how it was made. Definitely looking forward to Sawdust being available. Just curious though, the Clipped Wings (hopefully I got the name right) is finished but not printed yet? I haven't found it for sale anywhere but really love the art on that one as well.
Keep up the great work!

Re: SAWDUST
I'm just glad you've decided to space it out a bit Emmanuel. I think my previous comments may have been lost but this is looking even better than clipped wings and curator. While I'll want more time for my wallet to recover in time for this deck's release, I'm not sure I can wait that long. Great job as always sir.

Re: SAWDUST
Thank you! For a minute I considered having Clipped Wings and Sawdust in one campaign, but that would have been a headache to sort through.

Re: SAWDUST
At least make it a stretch goal. Set it so you can print 5000 of each, then you should have several to sell afterwards too.

Re: SAWDUST
Stretch goal or not, I'm not combining Clipped Wings and Sawdust in the same campaign. They are two completely different decks. It would be a different story if they were two versions of the same deck.DukeBoy wrote:At least make it a stretch goal. Re: SAWDUST
When people like Jackson manage 4+ decks in the same campaign, I don't see any reason why 2 would be bad. They're in the same style and the same series. If you have both of them ready to be printed it would just allow backers (particularly international ones) to save on shipping.

Re: SAWDUST
Jackson manages his campaigns extremely well, but even he had 2 campaigns for Federal52. All the versions were also unified by the same theme and concept: currency. Stylistically, Clipped Wings and Sawdust are similar, but they have different themes and concepts.MagikFingerz wrote:When people like Jackson manage 4+ decks in the same campaign, I don't see any reason why 2 would be bad. I completely understand the reasoning for saving on shipping, but there's already more than enough going on in the Clipped Wings campaign (especially since rewards related to the Curator deck are already a part of it). Anyone who's seen the preview link for the campaign can vouch for this.

And I can vouch for that. It looks quite nice, with the perfect mix of style and featured pix, frankly! I understand the reasoning, but it could work, just would be a logistical nightmare for you, I do believe.

Re: SAWDUST
I realize Clipped Wings is just now moving into pre-production phase, but any update on when we might see this become available? Are you waiting until Clipped Wings shipped or will the KS project be opened before that? I assume all cards are cut/made and the design is done since you've been working on Delicious.

Hi Nate, I'm waiting till Clipped Wings is shipped before the Sawdust Kickstarter campaign comes around. August is ideal but we'll see.
