New backgrounds on the courts are very interesting!

Hey... um... can we see some of the "cheap looking" mock-ups of the borderless backs? You know... just for grins?

:)

Losts of trash so I'll upload something that I like. The reverse fan is not perfect but I know how to fix it.

Have hundreds of such :ugthink:

I'm sorry, but for me every new variation of the back design strays further and further from what I liked about the initial design/concept. I'm curious as to where it'll end up, but I can feel my interest and excitement dwindling :(

I was asked to show some not-so-ugly borderless design. I have 100 more variations but I'll keep them private

One rule applies - there is no difference between love and hate

p.s. I need something very simple (back/box) for this deck

In fact it's an experiment to post sketches here on UC. Each design process is always like this. You start with one idea and finish with something very different. I don't really care about the original design. It's just a food for more ideas.

Still need to play with colors/bands/symmetry but overall it's a good try

Huh.

For the borderless design, the fans will look a lot more interesting, I suspect (although, I imagine you've tried this) if the waves along the left-hand side along the upper half of the deck curve ever so slightly downward (ie, toward the "middle") of the cardback near the edge. Instead of getting that cheap-kinda feel you're wrestling with, it should make for a more deliberate, circular-ish pattern.

I'm probably not describing this very well, but I think you might get a sense of where I'm going with this.

Thank! Yes, of course I understand! Previous back design was a sketch. Today I had more time to work. I think I can go without a white edition. First one could be with a colorful background and borders. And borderless ULTRA.

I do favor the darker purple for the background color....

Looking forward to having a borderless version available!
