...approach him about possibly CrowdFunding a playing card deck on CardLauncher? I'd love to be able to offer all of the magicians and cardistry people a really first class deck, and that's the first thing that popped into my mind. Now, don't ask if I already tried: I have. Bill Kalush (Expert PCC) who knows him well says that "he prints his own decks", but I don't get discouraged easily.

Re: Does anyone know David Blaine well enough to . . .
you know... David Copperfield has never done a signature deck - AND he's slightly more popular. With his busyness someone would need to design a few mockups for him in advance and then approach him with the idea. And then it would be a few follow up meetings with tweeks. But Criss Angel sells his decks in his Vegas gift shop - it only stands to reason that it's time Copperfield got on board.

Im almost 100% certain that David would not put his name on just ANY deck.
Besides, he has a close working relationship with Theory11, so if there was a deck to come out with his name, it would most certainly come from them.

DB has a bunch of semi-custom decks under his own branding, not sure how you have that relationship with t11 (did they work on something before?)MikeHankins wrote:Im almost 100% certain that David would not put his name on just ANY deck.

If he were to crowd fund something it would be under his own brand, to build on to it and take away some of the risk if he were to go full custom.
