ITR's

Unread post by walrus »

Anyone having any good fortune with a particular ITR. I have had bad luck with several thread reels. I find Yigals reels to be pretty good but I am looking for something different and reliable. :)

I agree Ibby. I am a really into IT work and do it very effectively. I started with the Hummer card and and now float numerous objects. The tarantula works well for me but for many things I use the Fearson hook up. Very easy to clean up. The thread reels are great for stationary levitations but they are just too fragile. If you break the thread you might as well throw it out. I have ordered many of them from themagicktrickstore.com. They are very good at replacing or refunding items but I went through so many he got annoyed and told me I should try something else. There is one out there that is supposed to be reliable and easy to fix but I forgot the name of it.

This past summer Brad at E stated E was going to release a DVD with a new way to do the floating ring. E posted a video of it and it looked great. I am looking forward to ordering it when it is released but it has been over half a year. Have not heard anything about since he first mentioned it.

Yup, Fearsons is a great fail safe. E released that DVD I was talking about. It was only preorder. I think it includes a new ITR but the main thing is the hookup. It is suppose to be something new. Check out the trailer at E. If it lives up to the hype it will be a great method. I am waiting to hear some reviews but I am sure I will end up picking it up. Also Mr. Ibby, you should look at the thread bullets, they are cheap and effective.

I have had bad luck with several thread reels.
I am with you, I know you wanted people to respond who HAVE had good luck, but I have a plastic baggie with 3 defunct ITR's in it, thinking about chucking it on ebay and letting someone who has better eyesight or who is more coordinated than I am have em.

Orthy, have you tried a thread bullet, very simple, easy to make your own. Probably one of the more reliable ones I have. It is not a reel but with practice you can compensate.
