Octo Cardistry Competition

Unread post by Mirror »

So the Octo Cardistry Competition is going on for the last couple of weeks. I made it into round two (with 11 other cardists) but I didn't make it into the finals, sadly. Well, anyway, here are my videos for t rounds 0 - 2

Your videos didn't post Mirror. Are you entering the ICO competition?

Thanks. I think I decided to stop doing magic and started really focusing on card flourishing about 1 and a half years ago (around autumn 2012)

I still can't see them. Anyone have a suggestion as to why? Thank you.

So this is why I've seen an increase in numbers of cardys try videos popping up. Some. Slick moves Mirror, wish you the best.

Also, nice shirt in 3rd video.

This place is called United Cardists. We, of all people, should be sponsoring an annual cardistry contest. At the very least a fanning competition. Mike is racing on a million miles an hour with all his various business ventures related to custom decks and collecting, you would think he would at least devote a little bit of time to hosting, promoting, and sponsoring a cardistry contest just once a year. I would be willing to step forward and donate decks towards prizes if this happens.

I think you mentioned a while back sinjin that it is closer to United Collectors now. I don't think that is too far off the mark. I came to this forum for cardistry and got a little swept up into collecting. I have stopped that and am focusing on cardistry again.

Mirror, I can finally see your videos. It was a weird antivirus block because they are linked to another site.

I really enjoyed watching your videos and also appreciate that you consistently post videos. Thanks! Good Luck in the ICO!

Haha well nothing is out of the question, but things like these need a fair bit of planning, most of us are a little tied up at the moment, but it's something we would definitely consider :)

Great idea and I couldn't agree more. I would also be willing to pony up some decks and swag for prizes.

Pretty much what I've been thinking for a few months now.
